A 29-year-old Kansas man has been arrested after authorities say he posted a series of antisemitic death threats targeting conservative commentator and West Boca resident Ben Shapiro.

Korby Aaren Strube of Horton, Kansas, faces 23 counts involving written or electronic threats to kill or cause bodily harm and two counts involving the alleged use of a communications device to facilitate a felony.

According to reporting based on a Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit, investigators were notified August 4 about threatening posts published on X between July 31 and August 2.

Authorities allege that the posts repeatedly named Shapiro, referenced his Jewish faith and included a countdown pointing toward Yom Kippur. Investigators traced the account using records obtained from online and telecommunications providers.

A Secret Service agent later interviewed Strube in Kansas. According to the affidavit, Strube allegedly acknowledged writing the posts.

Strube was arrested September 12 and transported to Palm Beach County. He was reported to remain jailed following a court hearing.
