Florida Atlantic University is hosting conservation photographer and National Geographic Explorer Carlton Ward Jr. for a free Path of the Panther presentation tonight, Monday, October 5, at 6 p.m. Eastern. Registration is required.
The lecture takes place at the Carole and Barry Kaye Auditorium in the FAU Student Union, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton. This is an outing on FAU's Boca Raton campus, not a West Boca venue.
FAU describes the presentation as a visual look at preserving Florida's wild lands and animals. Ward's Path of the Panther work uses photography and video to tell the story of the Florida panther and the Florida Wildlife Corridor.
For residents interested in wildlife photography and Florida conservation, the lecture offers a specific reason to make plans for tonight rather than a general campus visit.
Use the registration link on FAU's official calendar and check availability before heading over. MyWestBoca could verify the university's announcement and event listing, but not remaining registration availability. The official listing identifies this as a lecture; it is not being presented here as a movie screening.
